63 Twenty-Fiftii Biennial R'eport was prevalent throughout the State in epidemic proportions. For the first six months of 1934 there were 52,663 reix)rted cases of this disease. Whoop-iirg-cough in 1933 showed a low number of reported cases. This was not true for the previous year, and in 1934 the indications are that we will have probably twice the number of cases as were reiwrted for 1933. The other reportable diseases remain more or less constant for the State as a whole. Communities show fluctuations which, however, do not greatly influence the total number of reported cases for the entire State. Incidence—Herewith is given the incidence by month of reported diseases for the calendar year 1933 for the State as a whole.
