Abstract | Blue line print. Map consists of 2 sheets, with Sheet 1 showing all of Henderson County surrounded by inset enlargements, and Sheet 2 entitled "Enlarged municipal and suburban areas." Insets, Sheet 1, at scale of 1:31,680: Fletcher, Gerton, Bat Cave, Horseshoe, Blue Ridge, Tuxedo, Etowah. Sheet 2 shows Hendersonville and vicinity at scale of 1:31,680. Symbols designate locations of churches, schools, cemeteries, post offices, camp grounds, fairgrounds or race courses, manufacturing plants, mines, hospitals or county homes, municipal parks or picnic grounds, saw mills, and airports. Also designated are portions of the Pisgah National Forest and Pisgah Wildlife Management Area. Mountain peaks and gaps are labeled, and elevations are given. Includes "Key to County Road Numbers" and inset map showing the county's location within North Carolina.
