The map shows a Developed Areas Plan as part of the master plan for Humpback Rocks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The map was created by Tarter in 1961 and revised by R.A.H. in 1967. The map shows a topographical and land use view of the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center and Mountain Farm. It includes a building list with an information center, spring house, chicken house, root cellar, log barn, log house, pig pen, comfort stations, ash hopper, bee gum, apple butter kettle, beetin block and wash kettle, and a chicken coop. A note on the map states that a Proposed Mountain Farm Exhibit Expansion (the Living Farm) is attached on sheet 13. There are also parking areas, a Greenstone parking overlook, a Greenstone self guiding trail, proposed back-country camping area, visitor center, campground, and falls. The Greenstone Management Area and George Washington National Forest appear to the left side of the map.
