Caption	Notes in the upper left corner of the map read, "In Bath County Col. Barnwell Defeated the Indians A.B. 1712" and "In Granville County Col. Craven Routed the Indians A.D. 1716."
Abstract	Map shows the area from Cape Charles to south of Fort St. Augustine, and westward to the Appalachian Mountains. Relief shown pictorially. Several Native American tribes are noted on the map, including the Catawba, Waxhaw ("Waxsaws"), and Cherokee ("Charakeys").
Bibliographic Note	This map was issued as one of four maps, all of which are taken from Moll's maps in his Atlas Minor, London, 1729. This particular map is Plate D.
