Abstract	Print, mounted on linen. The reduced drawing was done by F. Fairfax, and Henry Lindenkohl and the map was engraved by H. C. Evans, J. J. Young, F. Courtenay, F. W. Benner, and W. A. Thompson. This map portrays the coastline of North Carolina from Oregon Inlet to Cape Hatteras. Topographical features, roads, locations of structures, life saving stations, lighthouses, and other landmarks are shown. Soundings are given for the Atlantic in the vicinity of the coast. Information relating to the soundings, aids to navigation, tides, and other aspects of the map is found in the upper left below the title.
