Abstract	Print, mounted. This map portrays the coastline of Virginia and North Carolina from Cape Henry to Cape Lookout, including the Albemarle and Pamlico Sounds. Soundings are given, and the depth of the water is indicated by shading. Information relating to the soundings, aids to navigation, and the abbreviations used to describe the ocean bottom is found in the lower right corner of the map. This copy has been annotated to show the boundary lines of Hyde, Pamlico, and Carteret counties and to note the locations of lighthouses.
