Abstract	This oversized blue line print may be a proof copy of the 1968 state highway map. Shows county names and boundaries, cities and towns, airports, ferries, dams, lighthouses, mountain peaks with spot heights, state parks and national forests, Cherokee Indian Reservation, and forts. A legend explaining the symbols used to indicate various kinds of roads and highways and the population of cities and towns and information on the operation of ferries appear as insets in the lower right corner of the map, along with a list of commissioners. Includes "Highway Rest Area Information" and "Index of Cities and Towns." One inset map: "Blue Ridge Parkway."
