Abstract	Blueprint. This map was prepared by the North Carolina State Highway Commission in accordance to a resolution passed by the commission on October 9, 1916. It was prepared for the five year federal aid program and shows the proposed system of state highways. Improved roads are shown as single solid white lines on the map and unimproved roads as parallel lines. Counties are delineated and named and county seats are identified. No other information is found on the map.
