Notes |
Approved camera-ready logos and artwork to produce buttons, flyers, and other advertising material for the 1990 census were provided to census workers in the 1990 Census Communicators Kit to encourage people to fill out the 1990 census forms. This "Listen to the Drum" button logo was specifically aimed at American Indian and Alaskan Native communities. Buttons with this logo were distributed among Lumbee Indians in Robeson County, North Carolina. Sets of logos and advertising materials were also designed and prepared for African Americans, Hispanics, and Asian and Pacific Islander communities. |
