James Taylor is a singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his folk-rock style. His family moved to Chapel Hill in 1951 when he was three years old. Taylor has won five Grammy awards. His most popular songs include "Carolina in My Mind" "Fire and Rain" and covers of Carole King's "You've Got a Friend" and Marvin Gaye's "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)." |
