The map shows the Mabry Mill Pioneer Industry Group Development Area, Interpretive and Utilities plan, part of the master plan, for the Mabry Mill site in Section 1T of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was designed by E.O.D.C., drawn by Tarter, and Checked by Beyer in 1965. The map shows roads, walkways, buildings, water lines, drinking fountains, sewers, and tile disposal areas. In the bottom left corner of the drawing there is a list of features of a self-guiding tour, which includes a pounding mill, tub mill, soap making, blacksmith shop, can press-sorghum making, apple butter, mint still, whisky still, bark mill, tannery and shoe making, log cart, lumber drying rack, mill stones, and the story of Mabry Mill. A note states that Building #262, Concession and Comfort Station, is to be rehabilitated to become a Visitor Center.
