Transcription	Message on front of card: "Hello! Effa, What are you doing with your self these days, having as big a time as ever? Give my love to all my kin folks, are you almost married? [Illegible] is the lucky one!" Addressed to: "Miss Effa Majette, Sands, Va." Postmarked 8 December 1906.

Description	View of a log transfer machine lifting logs onto flatbed train cars. Several workers can be seen operating the machinery and standing on the ground below. The lettering on the side of the machine reads: "Greenleaf Johnson Lumber Co., Steam Log Transfer, Built by Surry Parker, Pine Town, N.C., 1904, No. 112." The card is numbered 5248.
