The remains of the might four-masted schooner G.A. Kohler. Among the last of her kind, she was washed ashore here in the storm of 1933. Through the heroic efforts of the crews from Gull Shoal and Chicamacomico Coast Guard stations, they succeeded in rescuing the eight men and one woman on board. |
