Lake Waccamaw, N.C.--R.M. McCray, Director. Built by The Carolinas District of Kiwanis International, and first occupied in January of 1964 by sixteen boys and their housemother. Boys Home provides a year-round home of Christian environment for neglected, under-privileged, and in many cases, homeless boys. It offers them non-sectarian religious training, educational opportunity, individual guidance, and physical development and care, and wholesome recreation. "A boy saved is a man made." |
