Printed. This map, apparently from a German edition of Isaac Weld's Travels Through the States of North America, portrays the east coast of the United States from Maine to North Carolina. Rivers, mountain ranges, and other topographical features are depicted and identified. Relief is shown pictorially. Waterways and major cities and towns are shown. The route taken by Weld in his travels is also noted, as are the locations of Christian Indian settlements. A map of South Carolina, Georgia, and part of North Carolina appears as an inset in the lower right corner.
