Abstract	A hand-drawn map of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and surrounding communities. The map marks the location of many extant churches, including Union Grove, Hickory Grove, Bethel, Damascus, Mount Moriah, Orange, Mount Sinai and Mount Carmel. Also featured are mills, gins and stores and an iron mine. Roads to Pittsboro, Raleigh and Cane Creek are noted as is the railroad and depot. Finally, the map includes the location of several large farms and the names of their owners.
Bibliographic Note	Map appears to be based on George W. Tate's 1891 "Map of Orange County."
