Abstract	Relief shown by hachures. Depths shown by soundings. Shows natural features, roads, Quaker meeting houses, trading paths, shipping routes, cities and towns, forts, and mills. Shows names of land owners, precinct and township boundaries in South Carolina, and 1772 boundary line between North and South Carolina. Depicts a "Meherrin Indian Town" and "Tuscaroraw (Tuscarora) Indian Town" in eastern North Carolina, the Catawba Indians south of Mecklenburg County, and the Cherokee in the far west. Prime meridian: London. Includes insets: "Attaques du Fort Sulivan pres Charlestown dans la Caroline meridionale par les Anglois le 28. juin 1776 avec les camps des Ameriquains" (Attack on Fort Sullivan, near Charleston, by nine British Men of War British--Bristol, Experiment, Actaeon, Active, Solebay, Syren, Sphinx, Friendship, and Thunder.
