Barbara Howe (1953 - ) was raised in Wingate, North Carolina. Howe ran as the Libertarian candidate for North Carolina governor three times, the most recent of which was in 2012, when she lost to Republican candidate Pat McCrory. Howe also ran unsuccessfully for the North Carolina House of Representatives in 2010. |
