Notes
The community of Dixonville was about four miles downstream from Hookerton and four miles southeast of Ormondsville . It was the site of a plantation named "Grampion Hills " owned by Murfree Dixon . In 1898 , the community had a steam saw mill , a dry goods store , a church , several homes and a post office . The post office closed in 1903 . See Creech , James M .
