Description	Compass and case used by Collier Cobb of UNC Geology Department, early 1900s. Compass is metal with flat stand and numbered from 0 to 90 degrees between each letter of "Keuffel & Esser Co., 1211, New York." Locking knob at 3:00. Dimensions: 2 inches diameter, 1/2 inch deep, including stand height is 2.2 inches. Case is original, cardboard covered with leather, inside lined with purple paper; fold-over top with latch, bottom of case missing. Dimensions: 1 1/2 inches wide, 2 1/2 inches long, 2 1/4 inches high.
