| Abstract | Lithograph with hand-applied colors; mounted on linen. This map portrays North and South Carolina. Counties are shown and the townships of each county are delineated and identified. Railroads, cities and towns, and rivers and other bodies of water are depicted. Alphabetical lists of the counties of and post offices in each state are found in tables at the bottom of the map. One inset map in the upper left corner: "Western Point of North Carolina." A legend and a note explaining the omission of the townships of Pender County are located in the lower right below the title. |
