Project description | Interviews and other materials, 1976-1978, conducted and collected by Nell Irvin Painter in connection with her book The Narrative of Hosea Hudson: His Life as a Negro Communist in the South (1979). Some interviews are with Hudson, but there are also interviews in which Painter discussed Hudson with others, a recording of Hudson's 1977 speech at the University of Pennsylvania, and supplemental materials including a few photographs. |
