Description	Image shows three men posed in the "George Wallace for President" headquarters in Rocky Mount. All three men are wearing "Wallace for President - Stand Up for America" campaign buttons. George Wallace did not run on the Democratic or Republican ticket but formed a new party, the American Independent Party, whose campaign slogan was "Stand Up for America". The unknown man standing on the left is wearing a "Wallace '68" tie clasp. The man standing on the right is Bruce Peacock and the man sitting is John W. Lewis, local coordinators for the Rocky Mount-Nash County area. Title notes "George Wallace for President H.Q. Opens".
