Description	Image shows Belinda Carver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Lee Carver of 1001 Sunset Ave., holding a trophy for first place in the "School Day's Majorette Queen" contest of 1968 that was held in Monroe, NC. She was a sophomore and a majorette with the Rocky Mount Senior High School Band and was sponsored by the local Pepsi Cola Bottling Company. The contest included competition in strutting and twirling as well as modeling clothes. She is shown wearing a dress she modeled in the contest.
