Description	Image shows Girl Guards of the Salvation Army and the Boy Scouts of Troop 152 at Sunset Park in Rocky Mount. They had just completed a 12-mile hike from Nashville. The hike followed a week of 52nd Anniversary activities for the Girl Guides. The Girl Guides, sponsored by the Salvation Army and begun in 1915, was a organization similar to the Girl Scouts. This photo with accompanying article was published in the Rocky Mount Telegram on 06/04/1968.
