Photographs of quilts made by Amanda Gordon, taken at her home near the Ferris Family Farm in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Taken during the 1974 making of "Made in Mississippi" with collaborators from Yale University, in this photograph Amanda sits on her porch with a quilt made in the string (also known as stripe) design, which is an important link to African Textiles. |
