Message on back of card reads : "Southern Pines N.C . The Hollywood Hotel Dear M . We arrived after a tiresome journey of 2 days and 1 night . We were glad it was not longer like Florida , or California . Every thing seems very pleasant . We have a temperature of over 70 [degrees] we did enjoy Henry's visit - so much . [illegible] once he was [illegible] on a [illegible] will write a letter very soon . Much love M - Jan 22. " Addressed to: "Ms . H.C . Culbertson 132 W . 12th Street Emporia Kansas- " Postmarked 23 January 1916 .
