SQUIRE AND SARAH BOONE GRAVESTONES, Joppa Cemetery, Hwy. 601 North, Mocksville, North Carolina. Parents of the famous frontiersman, Daniel Boone, they lived on Bear Creek in Davie County near this cemetery. Squire Boone died in 1765 and Sarah in 1777. Accessible to visitors at all times. |
