Shows site of and troop movements during the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, which occurred 15 March 1781 within what is now Greensboro. This battle of the American Revolution proved a victory for the British, but resulted in higher British casualties than American. Map notes the location of 10 significant sites or monuments. Those include the Hoskins House (1), the front line of battle (2), the Kerrenpaugh Turner Monument (3), the Nathaniel Greene Monument (4), the Delaware and Maryland Monuments (5), the Third Line marker (6), the Guilford Courthouse site (7), Liberty Oak (8), the Francisco Monument (9), and the Winston Monument (10).
