Notes |
The Nashville Palace, a nightclub in Nashville, Tennessee, offers performances by up-and-coming and established country music stars. The Palace, once located across the street from the Opryland USA music and theme park complex, opened in 1974. It closed in July 2013 and reopened under new management at a new location about a block away. Randy Ray and Randy Travis were the stage names of Randy Traywick, a North Carolina native who started his country music career at the Palace. Country singer Alan Jackson also considered the Palace as the starting point of his musical career. |
